Additional Requirement 4

Argh my pet hate, "environmentally friendly" to be truly environmentally friendly, kill yourself! Everything we do changes our environment, nearly all products out there just reduce the impact of us on the environment which is all well and good, but it's not what we make our products out of that matters, it's our inherent need to own too much stuff, our consumer driven lifestyle! The human race in my view will never be an environmentally friendly one, to do that we need to live in the past, before technology and mass manufacturing but who will give up luxury and the modern lifestyle?. We need to be cave men haha.

Good
Manufactured in Wales from sheepswool in the UK.

Natural Insulations:

  • Are more thermally efficient than mineral fibre
  • Use less energy and emit less CO2 in manufacture than mineral fibre
  • Are safer to handle than mineral fibre
  • Have the ability to absorb and desorb moisture without losing their efficiency
  • Can help UK sheep farmers
  • Can be composted or incinerated for energy use at the end of their (long) life
Although the ground is sometimes fertilised to feed the sheep and fertilisers are made using crude oil.

BadPatio heaters are awful for the environment, they consume huge amounts of gas and have a very low efficency. The average patio heater emits about 50kg (110lb) of carbon dioxide per year, according to the energy trust.
