OLED Screens

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) are the next new big technology to hit the highstreets.

OLED screens don't nee a backlight and therefore consume a lot less energy than LCD or plasma screens, they are incredibly thin, less than 1mm. They can be bent in half and rolled up, the technology is still relatively new and is still being played with.

I will blog more on some products that use OLED technology now and future applications.
